Om or AUM is a Sanskrit letter, found in Vedas scriptures, 1500–1200 BC. AUM, represents 3 letters, sound A represents Brahma, ‘the creator of the world”; sound U is Vishnu, the preserver, and the M sound is for Shiva, the destroyer. So AUM represents the 3 divine powers that control the universe.
